Common Questions

How fast will my kit arrive?

Orders ship from Amazon US fulfillment centers and typically arrive within 2–5 business days. Kits bought on Amazon are Prime-eligible. Every order includes tracking.

What do I need besides the kit?

The SO-101 Complete Teleoperation Kit contains every part in the SO-101 bill of materials for both arms: printed frames, 12 servos, controller boards, power supplies, and cables — no soldering required. You supply a computer to run the open-source LeRobot software, and a USB webcam if you want to record datasets for training policies.

How can I access product documentation?

All product documentation, files, and assembly instructions are available on individual product pages and through our documentation portal. We link to the upstream open-source docs — for the SO-101, the official LeRobot build guide on Hugging Face. Everything is open-source and freely accessible.

How do you choose which projects to support?

We look for open-source robotics projects with high-quality designs, active maintainer communities, strong documentation, and educational or research value. We also evaluate the BOM for sourceable, quality components. Our goal is to support the best projects by making them physically accessible.

Can I suggest a project for you to kit?

Absolutely! We're always looking for exceptional open-source robotics projects to support. Use the contact form above and select "Partnerships" to share project details, and we'll evaluate the BOM and community fit.

Do you contribute back to open-source projects?

Yes! We provide feedback to project maintainers about sourcing and assembly considerations, share issues we discover during kit building and testing, and support the communities behind the projects we kit. We believe in strengthening the open-source ecosystem.
